- • Electrical Teams to undertake complete electrical installation in accordance with appropriate regulatory body and best practice.
It is pertinent to mention that artificial lighting in modern sport stadiums is an important factor because sports like athletics, football, rugby etc have become sporting events for light.
With mutative trends in Stadia designs and aesthetics, the days of hundreds of luminaires mounted on 4cornered-masts high above the stadium are coming to an end. In modern sports and event stadiums, the floodlighting systems are now integrated into the tribune roofs and are thus an integral component of the architectural design but above all at STADIAHUB INFRASTRUCTURE, we ensure our installation complies with the stringent regulations of FIFA Class V with illuminance levels of up to 2000 lux which is therefore ideal for HDTV technology of broadcasting.
It is pertinent to mention that luminaires used for our lighting projects are made by SITECO GmbH whose products were used in 4 stadia viz: Greenpoint Stadium, Free-State Stadium, Mbombela Stadium, Loftus Versfeld and 6 training pitches during FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa and in addition, National Stadium, Abuja built in 2003.
